The Rut Training Runs
Hey Rut Runners! Please join us for an evening of running, food, beverage, and good discussion this June 8th, at Marshall Mountain in Missoula. For the last few years, we have offered training runs in Big Sky for folks to experience Lone Peak before race day. This year, however, the climb to Lone Peak is closed in the summer due to the construction of the new Lone Peak Tram. Do not worry, the climb to the summit and current tram will be open and operational on race weekend! With this in mind, we will not be hosting training runs in Big Sky this summer.
Instead, we will offer a fun evening for our Rut Runners on June 8th up at Marshall Mountain, just outside of Missoula, for a gathering including two distances of training runs (with shoe demos from The North Face), post-run food (Pizza!), and beverages (from Big Sky Brewing), as well as a panel discussion, emceed by Race Director Mike Foote. The panel discussion will include past Rut champions as well as some veteran middle-of-the-pack Rut runners who can share insights from their previous Rut experiences.
Lastly, this event is free but you must sign up so we know who is coming.
